Gym Construction

Construction of the new wall at Prime Climb is complete and everybody here is excted about the changes to our gym. The new wall features a wide variety of new and interesting components. Utilizing an initial design by Dan Yagmin Jr, with tweaks by Greg Lowden, Brien Roscetti, and the folks from Rockwerx, this state of the art wall was engineered and built for us by the Rockwerx team. The wall features seperate toprope and lead anchors, steep lead only sections, crack climbing, vert walls, stemming and more. The changes to the gym will also improve airflow, heating, and visibility throuought the gym. Phase II of construction soon follow and will enable us to add additional slab and beginner routes. All of these changes are based on climber requests, feedback and suggestions. Our goal is keep the climbing fresh, varied and interesting. Are we psyched? Yes we are, and we are sure you will be too!
